About R404A
Thanks to its low boiling point and small temperature glide, R404A delivers high cooling capacity at low evaporating temperatures, which makes it well suited to freezers and deep-freeze applications. It is used with polyolester (POE) lubricants and should be charged in the liquid phase.
Storage and handling
Store cylinders upright in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources (below 50 °C). Always read the safety data sheet before use.
R404A has a high global warming potential. Under Regulation (EU) 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, its use in new equipment and for certain servicing applications is restricted. Contact us and we will help you confirm the right refrigerant for your system.
